Its spring and catkins and daffodils are out and the bats are singing in the woods. I'm reliably informed this is a brown long eared bat (Plecotus auritus) although not completely anatomically correct (and yes the real ones really do sing in the woods in spring!)

The Flapping Long Eared Bat print is around 10cm long x 17cm wide (wingspan) x 7cm tall to top of ears whilst lying flat.
The legs, head and wings are all articulated and make a very satisfying rattle when moved about. This model also has a special feature in that the wings can be flapped by pressing the button on its back repeatedly. It also has hooked feet so can be displayed hanging from a wire or thin branch etc.
The eyes, ears and nose are hand painted with Vallejo model acrylics and sealed with clear gloss acrylic finish to give it a distinctive lifelike personailty.
The bat in the photos is printed in Chocolate Brown filament but it can be printed any colour you like, take a look at my other listings to get an idea of how the colours look.
Printed with plant based PLA filament these models are biodegradable.
As with all 3D prints layer lines are visible and there may be the odd small imperfection in the printing process but these do not take away from awsomeness of the finished product
Although care has been taken to ensure this will endure hours of fidgeting and play please be aware the arms, legs and body can break if too much pressure is applied so be careful when having fun and always supervise young children to avoid accidents
